Always keeping up with the current trends and I enjoy introducing them to my clientele.

Favourite extreme sport?

I wouldn’t say it’s my favourite but the most extreme sport I’ve participated in is abseiling.

What brings out your creative side?

Connecting with all of my clients and making them feel confident about how fabulous their hair looks.

What’s your favourite decade?

The world is a much happier place when we’re all listening to the 80’s.

Who inspires you?

“Pink” the entertainer! She’s a true professional with such a positive, down to earth and fun approach to life.

What’s your favourite decade?

I just love the glamour and hairstyles of the Hollywood 50’s.

What’s your favourite hobby?

Snorkelling! The tranquillity and fascination of the underwater world.

What brings out your creative side?

Oh, so much! I’m passionate about hairdressing, and feel privileged to have the opportunity to help people look and feel the best that they can be. Inspiration also comes from always learning and evolving within this great industry. I love to share this every one of my treasured guests.

Why did you decide to do hairdressing?

As a kid, I was always playing with my friends’ hair. As I grew older, the urge to play with hair never changed. I guess I was always meant to do this job.

Favourite part of hairdressing?

Seeing how a style, cut or colour can transform someone. Seeing someone light up and feel amazing.

My go to look?

Anything with texture. Beachy curls or a low soft bun. With fine hair, there’s always a need for teasing for height and volume.

Tabatha Coffey. I love how simple she reminds us to be in our work – Love what you do, continue growing and educate yourself to deliver great service.

Sharon Blain is also amazing! Watching her create such beautiful hair art both inspires and excites me. I always look forward to creating and personalizing a formal style.

When you are not at work what would be some of your favourite things to do?

Designing fashion looks, landscaping, gardens.

What is your favourite hobby or extreme sport?

I love anything artsy-sewing, pottery, and a good paint and sip with friends.

What do you love creating in the salon?

I love creating any foil work and finishing it with a blowdry or GHD styling.

It shows off the work and makes the client feel a million dollars.

So far – your favourite holiday destination and why?

My favourite holiday has been Thailand!

Especially all the islands that you can snorkle at, get a tan, and hike to view points.

What is your favourite hobby?

I love adventure. I enjoy getting out with my friends and doing something outdoors. Recently I’ve been enjoying the Tree Top Challenge at Currumbin Zoo, as well as going on walks, hikes, and riding my bike.

What are some of your favourite styles you do in the salon?

My favourite thing to do in the salon is to create curls with different styling tools. I enjoy creating bouncy curls with a blowdryer, or using a GHD for different styles. I love that there are so many ways to be creative with a few tools.

Why did you decided to do hairdressing?

Ever since I was young I’ve enjoyed playing with my sisters hair, or braiding my friends. I knew I loved talking to and engaging with customers from previous experience. Hairdressing combines the two together perfectly.

What is your favourite hobby?

Anime! I love watching fantasy based anime movies.

Favourite part of working in a salon environment?

I love watching the amazing creations that all the hairdressers produce. It’s such a pleasure to provide support to everyone that enters our salon.

What’s your favourite decade?

Definitely the 90’s! I love 90’s music, movies and fashion. I also really enjoy some of the artwork, fashion and interior design from earlier eras.
